Proton Pakistan Recent developments reveal that two dealerships have chosen to sever ties with . The first is situated in Faisalabad, while the second is located in Lahore. According to insider information, both dealerships cited dissatisfaction with the car company as the primary reason for their decisions. Lyallpur Motors, the Faisalabad dealership, officially communicated their resignation and transition to Haval Pakistan, now operating as Haval Downtown.

Meanwhile, sources indicate that Momentum Motors in Lahore dissolved its affiliation with Proton Pakistan due to disagreements in work ethics. Although details regarding the separation remain limited, sources suggest that issues including car non-deliveries and professional discrepancies contributed to this development.

Al-Haj Automotive, or Proton Pakistan, made a notable entry into the local market by launching the Proton Saga sedan and the X70 crossover SUV. Yet, disruptions caused by COVID-19, particularly in Malaysia, impeded the import of CKD kits, resulting in delayed deliveries and consumer dissatisfaction. Despite the company's assurance of commencing deliveries in October 2023, a lack of confidence prevails. The recent closure of two dealerships exacerbates the situation, casting a shadow over any car company when its dealerships decide to resign.
