Proton Saga is Getting a Facelift Next Week

The Proton Saga is now getting its facelift after making its strong position in the Malaysian market. The new teasers hints that the new Saga also called MC2 Saga is set to be launched officially on 12th May 2022 meaning the car is on the way and will make its appearance after a day.

In the images leaked, it can be noticed that the company is going to offer the MC2 Saga with few cosmetic upgrades. The Proton Saga Facelift model will come with all new alloy wheels and body kit containing a front bumper extension and side skirts. The car is also going to have new circular emblem by Proton and the remaining will be similar to the model currently available model of Saga in the market.

Other Upgrades

According to recent reports, the company will launch the total 4 variant of Facelift and high end variant of the Saga facelift will be named as Premium S

All variant will be equipped with powertrain offered in the Proton Saga available in the Pakistani market. The local Saga is offered with naturally-aspirated 1298cc 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 95 horsepower and 120 Newton-meters of torque. The Standard manual will have a 5-speed manual gearbox while all other variants will have a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Proton Saga facelift could also witness a minor price increase, however, it hasn’t been confirmed yet. As for the Pakistani market, Saga has just started catching on a year after its launch.

The company is also expected to increase the Facelift Proton Saga Price 2022; however, it is yet to be confirmed. After its launch, Saga appeared in the Pakistani market about a year later.
