Proton Saga Sedan Finally Launched In Pakistan

Much awaited Proton Saga Sedan finally launched in Pakistan after a number of delays. The automaker managed a launch event for the official launch of the sedan via Facebook stream on 4th April 2021. A famous TV personality, Mansha Pasha hosted the launch event.

The high commissioner of Malaysia, Ikram Muhammad Ibrahim, CEO of Proton Pakistan Hilal Khan Afridi, Director Marketing Division Ibad Jamal, and the brand ambassador for the company, Shahid Afridi, also shared views about the newly launched Proton Saga.

As we know that, the Proton Saga is a sobcompact sedan which is a competitor to Changan Alsvin, Honda City and Toyota Yaris in the local auto industry of Pakistan. It is the cheapest car in the sedan category in the Pakistani market.

Design

The Proton Saga Sedan has an old design and look. But it has the alloy rims, a modern front bumper with DRLs, front grille and cosmetic aspects like the decorative vents on the rear bumper, and a decklid spoiler, the car has a fair plan design and appearance.

Interior of the sedan is also looking old but car has quality control issues, their interior designs are more modern and attractive. The Standard manual, auto, and Ace variants of the car will come in Ruby Red, Rosewood Maroon, Jet Grey, Armour Silver and Snow White.

Performance

The Proton Saga will come in three main variants including Standard Manual, Standard Auto, and Ace Auto and all variants will be installed with only one engine option, a 1299 cc, naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 94 hp and 120 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with either a 5-speed manual o r a 4-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant.
