Proton X70 Locally Assembled Unit Is Finally Rolled Out

Al Haj Automotive has finally come up with another remarkable milestone. The Proton Pakistan has rolled out the first unit of locally assembled CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) Proton X70. The automaker has names the car as its first Intelligent SUV being assembled in Pakistan.

According to official news shared on Social Media by Proton Pakistan the company is “setting new industry standards in Pakistan.”

The Proton Pakistan planned to start the local assembling its Proton Cars in Pakistan but due to COVID-19 crises globally it does not happened and company’s plan went on delay. The Malaysian auto giant faced restrictions on the shipment of CKD kits from Malaysia.

After a year, the Malaysian Govt allowed the shipments when the situation became normal around September 2021. With the resumption of industrial activities in Malaysia, Proton started shipping the CKD Kits. After one the company managed to ship the CDK units of Proton Saga in Pakistan and after three months the company shipped CKD Kits of Proton X70 SUV in Pakistan.

The Proton Pakistan set up its first local assembling plant of Proton Vehicles In Pakistan. The company rolled out the locally assembled Proton Saga in just three months and now we have another locally assembled SUV Proton X70 in local market.

Locally Assembled Proton X70 Specification and Features

The Proton X70 in Pakistan currently comes in two variants including All-Wheel Drive AWD and the premium variant Front Wheel Driver FWD.

Both variants of Proton X70 SUV 2022 in Pakistan are installed with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 176 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. The 7-speed DCT automatic transmission sends all of the power to the front wheels or all of the wheels (depending on the variant).

The major features of locally assembled 2022 X70 in Pakistan include an LCD display with all necessary information of the car, steering wheel controls, a push-start, power-folding mirrors, a day-night rearview mirror, power driver-adjustable, and ventilated front seats, with dual-zone climate control.

As far as the Price of Proton X70 locally assembled SUV in Pakistan is concerned, the Proton X70 Price 2022 in Pakistan for AWD variant is Rs. 4, 590, 000 and X70 Price 2022 for FWD variant in Pakistan is Rs. 4,890,000.
