In a significant stride towards road safety, the Punjab Traffic Police issued an impressive 234,000 driving licenses last month across the province. This accomplishment underscores a dedicated effort to ensure safer roads and responsible driving behaviors among citizens.

A noteworthy trend emerged as 70,000 individuals opted for the convenience of online application processes for their driving licenses. Enforcement and Penalties

Despite progress, the enforcement of driving regulations remains paramount, with over 972,000 drivers fined for various traffic violations. Notably, more than 46,000 penalties were issued to motorcyclists for riding without helmets, highlighting the critical importance of protective gear for road users.

Additionally, authorities addressed the menace of unlicensed and underage drivers by issuing over 180,000 challans, underscoring the commitment to curbing unsafe driving practices.

LTP's Driving Test Tips

Taking the initiative further, the Lahore Traffic Police (LTP) has released a video offering invaluable tips to the public on passing the driving license test.
