Renault Master's Latest: EV Edition, 87 kWh Battery

Renault has recently introduced the all-new Master, branding it as the next-generation multi-energy Aerovan. The company emphasizes its design as a masterpiece of aerodynamics, prioritizing efficiency across various energy sources. Alongside traditional dCi engines, this van offers two pure EV versions and even includes a hydrogen-powered variant.

The electric versions are not mere additions; they boast an impressive 410 km WLTP range, thanks to a substantial 87 kWh battery. You have the option of choosing between a 96 kW motor with a 40 kWh battery providing a range of 180 km, or a more robust 105 kW motor coupled with the aforementioned 87 kWh power pack, offering an extended 410 km range. Regardless of the choice, both configurations support 130 kW DC charging, enabling an addition of 229 km in just 30 minutes.

The new Renault Master showcases a remarkable suite of 20 driver assistance systems and an innovative dynamic braking system. This system ensures consistent braking effectiveness and pedal feel, regardless of the van's load, promising to revolutionize safety and efficiency.

Introducing Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging capabilities, the van enables powering devices directly from the battery or through outlets in the cockpit or load area. This practical feature elevates mobile office convenience to unprecedented levels.

The driver-centric interior features a passenger seat that transforms into a desk facing the driver, accompanied by up to 135 liters of storage space. The OpenR Link multimedia system operates on a 10-inch screen and supports both wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connections. Completing the tech-savvy interior is a wireless smartphone charger, eliminating cable clutter.

Set to hit the market in the spring of 2024, the new Renault Master holds the promise of innovative features and enhanced practicality, with pricing details set to be disclosed closer to its release date.
