Road Prince Launches New 4-Wheeler Off-Road Loader

Road Prince, the second-largest seller of CD70 replicas in Pakistan, has ventured into the commercial loader market with a new innovative product, the "OFF ROAD KING ATV LOADER 200CC." This latest model marks a significant change, as it is a four-wheeler, unlike previous versions. The introduction of this off-road loader aims to capture a different segment of the market, catering to businesses that require a more robust and versatile vehicle. The following sections delve into the design, features, and potential loopholes exploited in its classification.

ATV Loader Classification Loophole
Road Prince has labeled this new vehicle as an off-road loader, raising questions about the practicality of using it off-road after being loaded. The design seems purposefully categorized as an ATV, which allows the vehicle to avoid being registered as a standard four-wheeler with the Excise department. This move capitalizes on a legal loophole, as ATV vehicles are not considered road-legal and, therefore, do not require registration. Despite the legality issues, it's common to see such vehicles, including this one, being driven on regular roads.

Upgraded Features and Design
One of the standout upgrades in this ATV loader is the addition of a proper windshield. Previous three-wheeler loader models featured only small windows, but this new design provides better visibility and protection for the driver. Additionally, the inclusion of side mirrors is a significant safety improvement, as earlier models lacked them, leaving drivers to rely on intuition when changing lanes. These new features make the loader more practical and safer for daily use.

Enhanced Engine Performance
The engine of the Road Prince ATV loader also received a major upgrade. Unlike the older models, which were equipped with air-cooled 150cc or 200cc engines, the new loader boasts a water-cooled 200cc Zongshen engine. Zongshen, a well-known Chinese motorcycle engine manufacturer, has provided a more efficient and powerful engine for this model. This enhancement ensures better performance, especially for long-haul and heavy-duty operations, setting it apart from previous versions.

Price Expectations
As of now, Road Prince has not officially announced the price of its new ATV loader. However, considering that previous three-wheeler loaders were priced between Rs. 2.5 lacs for the base model and Rs. 5 lacs for the top-tier variant, it is expected that the price of this new quad loader will likely be closer to the higher-end range. Potential buyers can anticipate a higher price point, given the improved features and enhanced performance of this model.
