Shutdown Extended by Pak Suzuki After Honda

Shutdown Extended by Pak Suzuki After Honda
Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has opted to extend the halt in its production due to inventory shortages.
In an official notice, the company stated that its car manufacturing facility will remain non-operational from November 6 to November 8. However, Pak Suzuki plans to recommence production at its motorcycle plant.
This follows the previous extension of the shutdown for the automobile plant, which was initially slated from October 30 to November 3. Simultaneously, the motorcycle plant had also experienced a temporary closure from November 1 to November 3.
Likewise, Honda has declared a further extension of its production shutdown. As per an official notification, production activities will continue to be suspended from November 1 to November 7, 2023.
Notably, last month, reports had circulated regarding Pak Suzuki's reduction in the prices of its various vehicle models. However, these reports were ultimately debunked by Mr. Shafiq Ahmed Shaikh, Head of Pak Suzuki’s Public Relations Department. He categorically refuted the rumors, stating, "The news about Pak Suzuki vehicles' price reduction is entirely false. At present, Pak Suzuki has not reduced the price of any vehicle."
