Suzuki Leads Top 5 Best Selling Cars of September 2022

Consistent production cut and price hikes have affected the sales of all car makers. Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL), Toyota Indus Motor Company and Honda Altlas Cars Limited (HACL) have done the weak sales during the month of September. It is reported that despite of all these obstacles and hampers in sales of car, Suzuki leads top 5 best-selling cars of September 2022.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company has made some recovery from the last month and the sales of this company is near to monthly average of over 10,000 units and due to its sales, Suzuki cars dominates the market at the list of this month.

Note: Non-PAMA members like Kia, Changan, Proton, Haval, MG, Prince-DFSK, and United did not provide their official sales figures.

Toyota Yaris

Toyota Yaris has made significant improvement in its sales and demand. This car has 40% decline in sales, when you compare it to the last month figures. Yaris has managed to include in the five best-sellers of September 2022.

Toyota IMC showed the segregated sales of the sedans and the market sources said that the company has sold under 800 units of Yaris and it is included at the 5th spot in the best-selling vehicles in Pakistan.

Honda City

6th generation Honda City gained tremendous success and it has improved its sales in previous few months. This sub-compact sedan has beaten the sale record of Toyota Corolla, which is considered one of the most popular car of Pakistan. There are some other subcompact cars in the market including Suzuki Swift and Toyota Yaris.

The sources say that HACL sold over 950 units of City last month and it reaches to 4th spot on the list. The sales of the car is now revised when the automakers normalizes their operations.

Toyota Corolla

Toyota Corolla has become the best-selling sedan in Pakistan as this car has the hefty price tag. The sales of Toyota IMC is now closed to 1000 units of Corolla in September 2022 and it is strong to show for the compact sedan to give the slump to continuous operation.

Suzuki Swift

Suzuki Swift has the strong trajectory and it has become the second best-selling car last month and this car has beaten various consistent performers. Because of the decline in sales due to production cuts, PSMC managed to sell 1,263 units of Swift and it has made it bestselling subcompact family car of September 2022.

Suzuki Alto

Suzuki Alto has gained the status of best-selling car in Pakistan and in July 2022, PSMC did the record sale of this car, which is 2,372 units of Alto and it has made it the bestselling car in Pakistan for 9th consecutive month, despite of production cut in this car.

All of the automakers and the experts of auto industry expect further decline is sales of the car because of various reasons like crippling inflation, delivery delays, price hike and booking cancellations.
