Luxury automobiles have always been a staple in Bollywood, and the latest celebrity to join the exclusive ranks of Mercedes Maybach owners is none other than Taapsee Pannu. Taapsee's new ride, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600, is the epitome of opulence. She opted for a striking Palladium Silver finish, setting her Maybach GLS600 apart from the rest of Bollywood's elite. Mercedes Maybach's Success in India

Mercedes-Maybach introduced its inaugural SUV to the Indian market in 2021, and it quickly became a sensation. The base price for the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 starts at INR 2.35 crore, ex-showroom, before any customizations.

Inside the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600, buyers have the option of both four and five-seater configurations. The four-seater variant boasts a fixed center console complete with a built-in refrigerator, perfect for storing champagne bottles, complemented by silver champagne flutes. The cabin also features Nappa leather upholstery, an electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massaging seats, and more. Taapsee's choice of customizations remains undisclosed, leaving us curious about whether she opted for the five-seater or seven-seater configuration.

Beneath the hood, the Maybach GLS600 houses a robust 4.0-liter V8 engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This powerplant generates an impressive 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque, with an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm boost available on demand. Power is seamlessly delivered to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The GLS600 is equipped with an array of safety features, including Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Steering Assist, and more. It also boasts Adaptive High Beam Assist, Adaptive LED tail lamps, 8 airbags, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, an electronic traffic control system, and numerous other safety enhancements.
