Tesla Begins Shipping 'Highland' Model 3 in Europe
The recently updated Tesla Model 3, affectionately known as the 'Highland' variant, has commenced its delivery to eager customers across Europe. A fortunate group of buyers from Germany and the Netherlands have taken to social media platforms, including X (formerly known as Twitter), to proudly showcase their freshly arrived Model 3 vehicles.
For those exploring Tesla's German configurator, an estimated delivery time of 2 to 6 weeks is provided for the Tesla Model 3 Highland. In contrast, prospective buyers in the United States are currently offered the previous model with an estimated delivery slated for November. The exact timeline for the introduction of the new Model 3 to the U.S. market remains uncertain.
Furthermore, the updated Model 3 is also available for purchase in China, and there have been reports of a fleet of new Model 3s being prepared for shipment in the Chinese market. However, it appears that Germany has taken the lead in receiving the updated model.
The refreshed Model 3 brings a range of improvements, including a more aerodynamic design featuring new, slimmer headlights and redesigned tail lights. It also offers enhanced interior sound isolation, a revamped cabin, and the inclusion of a rear touchscreen display.
