Token Tax On Car Is Expected To Be Reduced

Chief Minister Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has reportedly approved a decision to decrease the token tax rate for vehicles with engine capacity to 2.5 liters and below.

According to details, the Punjab government has allowed the decision to amend the token tax by simplifying the classification of vehicles. Vehicles between 1,001cc and 1,300cc will be placed in the same category, for which the token tax has been reduced from Rs.500. 1,800 to Rs. 1,300

Similarly, token tax on vehicles between 1,301cc and 1,499cc has been reduced from Rs 6,000 to Rs 4,000. In addition, engine-displaced vehicles are placed in the same category in which the rate is reduced In addition, for vehicles with engine displacement between 2,001cc and 2500cc, the token tax was reduced from Rs. 5,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 9000.

Moreover, the proposal for vehicles with engine displacement between 2,001cc and 2,500cc, the token tax had been decreased from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 9,000.
