Toyota Corolla Be Successful in Pakistan at Launches in Dec

Some of the reports revealed couple of months ago, suggesting that Indus Motor Company is going to release its brand new variant of Toyota Corolla in Pakistani market, Corolla Cross. When IMC has given the briefing, they revealed this news and the company is going to launch Corolla Cross and this vehicle will be the complete built-up unit from Thailand. The boss at Toyota IMC has confirmed recently during an interview to media that Corolla Cross will be launched in Pakistan officially by end of this year. One of top official of Toyota IMC said in a statement that some of the vehicles have been brought in to test on Pakistani roads and traffic conditions. Most of the speculations suggest that this vehicle will complete with Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. This brand is classified as subcompact crossover SUV are most likely to be likes of Honda Vezel, Nissan Juke and Toyota C-HR.

In all markets, in which this vehicle has been launched, Corolla Cross is added with two versions of the 1.8 liter four cylinder engine of the company. This vehicle is standard, petrol powered engine to genenrate 140 horsepower and naturally aspirated and it also creates the 175 Nm of torque. This vehicle has the hybrid engine to generate 98 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque. This hybrid assist bumps to power up of the significant margin and electric engine gives more 72 horsepower and 163 Nm torque.

Corolla Cross variants has seven airbags, rear seat air vents, proximity key with push button start, 9.0 inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and reclining rear seats as standard. The additional features of this vehicle are added with LED headlights, extra exterior bright work, dual zone climate control, inbuilt navigation, leather seats with front with power adjustable and heated, bigger 7 inch infotainment display, sun roof, 18 inch alloys, auto dimming interior mirror, ambient interior illumination and power tailgate.



Corolla Cross is CBU, expert opinion suggests that the price of this vehicle will be between Rs.5.5 million and Rs.6.5 million. One can argue that Corolla Cross would be CBU, it will still be Corolla. People can develop the infatuation with brand names and in automotive market of Pakistan.
