The video of the race tuned Toyota GR Supra was gone viral across internet and the car was drifted around on skid pad with the Artificial Intelligence software. Toyota has joined forces with Stanford University in USA to get the Toyota Supra to drift on its own with the use of AI. The main aim of the project is to develop advanced driver assistance features. Stanford University and Toyota Research Institute has developed the self drifting Supra prototype and the former is known for developing self drifting Delorean DMC-12 back in 2019. Toyota Racing Department has a hand in the developing of the self drifting Supra and they did not share technical details of their help to TRI and Stanford University. AI-tech is used in Supra in order to chance the driving mannerisms of professional drifter and use them to drift car and perform advanced driving pattern.

The self driving tech is added with the advent of the automotive technology as all automakers like to get. Toyota seems to get that point and it will be the first to achieve self drive perfection, which remains to watch.
