The number 1 sedan in the Pakistani automarket, Toyota Yaris has disappointed its fans in the Latin Crash Test conducted in United State US.
According to details, in, Latin NCAP’s Car Assessment Test Toyota Yaris Sedan showed a poor performance and got only one star in terms of safety. This news put the company and fans in shock across the world, as it is happening for the first time in the history of Toyota.
Toyota Yaris Crash Test 2021
The Latin NCAP conducted the test of Toyota Yaris, the highly anticipated and appreciated sedan all over the world manufactured in Thailand and Brazil. The sedan is featured with 6 airbags and Electronic Stability Control ESC. Here are the results of the famous B-segment sedan’s safety test.
41% for the safety of the driver and front passenger
64% for the protection of child passengers in the back seat
62% for the protection of pedestrians
42% for the security systems offered as standard
According to Latin NCAP, the frontal impact for driver and front passenger was good in terms of head and neck protection in Toyota Yaris. The car was found good for driver and front passenger only and also safer for the driver’s knees protection. It was also found that the cabin and floor of the car were also unstable in the test and were not able to support higher loads.
