United Alpha Officially Unveiled In Pakistan

The United Motors officially launched Alpha hatchback in Pakistan. United Alpha is a 1000cc hatchback and made its debut in the Pakistani auto industry with the start of New Year. It will compete Suzuki Cultus and Kia Picanto. Alpha is going to be a cheapest car in the 1000cc hatchback lineup in Pakistan.

The United Alpha’s launch ceremony was held in Pearl Continental Hotel PC, Karachi. According to automaker, Alpha will be introduced as a Complete Knock Down CKD unit with lower price tag as compared to its competitors in the market.

Design

Design wise, the Alpha looks same as Cherry QQ, that was introduced right back 16 years ago by Karakoram Motors. It is a facelift and rebadged variant of first generation Cherry QQ. It is slightly different from Cherry QQ in terms of taillights and headlights. Overall design of the cars is smooth, simple and functional. It is a city car with a very cheap price that’s why it has black plastic panel.

Interior

Internally, the United Alpha is also a blend of simplicity with standard look besides a touch infotainment system screen, soft cotton fabric seats, gauge cluster and two tone design adds more to its bright look and attractiveness. The car has been provided with all basic features like a modern car but airbags are absent in this car and this is a major drawback in terms of safety.

Performance

The United Alpha is powered by a 1000cc Dual Overhead Cam DOHC 4-cylinder petrol engine naturally aspirated which produces 68 hp and 93 Nm of torque, and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car is also featured with MCPherson Strut for smooth drive. The Alpha car has front disc brakes with ABS.
