Unveiling the Engler V12: A Quad Bike Revolution

Slovakian company Engler introduces a groundbreaking creation, reshaping the notion of quad bikes with its latest innovation, the Engler V12. This quad bike stands out with its twin-turbo V12 engine, boasting a staggering 1,200 horsepower.

Evolution from Desat to V12
Engler gained attention previously with the Desat, featuring Audi R8's headlights and a 5.2-liter V10 engine. However, the Engler V12 elevates the concept of a 'super quad' to unprecedented heights. With a 12-cylinder engine producing 1,200PS and 1,200 Nm of torque, this quad bike redefines power-to-weight ratios, weighing just 1,200kg.

Accessibility and Design
Surprisingly, despite its immense power, the V12 quad bike aims for accessibility. It incorporates a unique handlebar steering system, excluding pedals, catering even to wheelchair users. However, storage options might be limited on this powerful machine.

Innovative Components and Features
Founder Viktor Engler keeps the source of the V12 engine discreet, hinting at a naturally aspirated version with 700 to 800bhp. The design integrates BMW motorcycle handlebars, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and Michelin tires. Notably, its in-house eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox weighs only 30kg. The quad bike also flaunts a titanium exhaust system, 20-inch forged magnesium wheels, and luxurious leather seats crafted by Swedish firm Art in Motion.

Technological Advancements and Safety Concerns
Technological sophistication is evident in the V12, featuring two touchscreens—one for vehicle data and another with Apple CarPlay. However, Engler acknowledges potential safety concerns regarding touchscreen use on a bike and pledges to reconsider the layout for enhanced driver safety.

Advanced Chassis and Limited Production
The V12 boasts a carbon monocoque chassis, titanium tubular subframes, and 3D-printed suspension elements. Active aerodynamic flaps and a height-adjustable windshield enhance performance. Engler currently limits production to 10 units annually, reflecting its exclusivity and performance. At its debut at Top Marques in Monaco, five pre-orders were already secured. The V12's price tag of €1.2 million underscores its elite status and unparalleled performance.
