Volkswagen Electric Cars and Batteries

Volkswagen is making the investment heavily in the production of electric cars and it the dramatic shift of the company in their objectives. The automotive company has declared the $10 billion investment for the production of electric vehicles and it is lower than they devoted to the gas powered cars. The company promised the 70 billion euro investment and they stated the goals to put 300 EV models on market by 2030.
The slide of company has been leaked about the VW presentation of the new coming electric car and it showed that 4 new models are coming under brand within few years and the several others are under the automotive companies like Porsche, Audi and other brands will be released very soon.
Most of the investment of 50 billion euros will be invested in the production of batteries so that it can support the electric car for the next decade. VW will also continue to produce diesel cars. An event was managed in Frankfurt on Monday and the CEO of VW company said that the shift in the objectives of the company is done because company like Volkswagen lead and not follow.
