Why Is the Honda CG125 2025 Selling at Rs. 20,000 ON Price?

Recently, Atlas Honda unveiled the Honda CG125 2025, and as expected, the changes are minimal—just a few tweaks in the sticker design, without any significant improvements. Despite this, the price continues to climb. This has been the trend for more than 40 years, as Atlas Honda has consistently offered the same motorcycle with almost no substantial updates.

Persistent Demand for an Outdated Model

Surprisingly, instead of demanding upgrades, Pakistani customers keep purchasing this decades-old model, even at inflated rates. Many enthusiasts are so attached to the Honda CG125 2025 that they are willing to pay extra, known locally as the premium or "ON" price. This love for the model continues, despite its outdated features.

Premium on Honda CG125 2025

The Gari.pk team recently conducted visits to multiple bike dealerships to check on the availability and pricing of the new Honda CG125 2025. According to the dealers, the bike is being sold at a premium of around Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 20,000 above the official price. Specifically, the black color model is fetching an additional Rs. 20,000, while the red variant is being sold for Rs. 17,000 more. This surge in demand is attributed to the excitement surrounding the launch of the new Honda bikes in Pakistan 2025.

Dealers further revealed that due to limited availability, many customers are facing difficulties in purchasing the bike. Some larger dealerships, which have a small stock, are even charging beyond Rs. 20,000 as premium. As a result, buyers are spending as much as Rs. 255,000 to acquire the Honda bike 2025, although the actual invoice price is Rs. 234,900.

Gari.pk's Perspective:

From a realistic standpoint, it's difficult to justify paying a higher price for a motorcycle that remains largely the same as previous versions. The Honda CG125 Special Edition 2025 is virtually unchanged from earlier models, aside from its cosmetic sticker updates. Paying the premium for such a minor refresh seems like a wasteful decision, especially when the bike's design and performance have stayed stagnant over the years.

For those genuinely in need of a honda cg125 2025 on installment, opting for a 2020 or 2022 model might be a smarter move. These slightly older models typically have low mileage and are often in good condition. With careful research, buyers can find a much better deal without having to pay unnecessary extra costs.

In summary, spending an additional Rs. 20,000 for a bike like the Honda CG125 price in pakistan 2025 offers little value. It’s more sensible to explore pre-owned models, saving money without sacrificing quality.
