Yamaha Retro Electric Scooter Launches in Japan

Yamaha is going to reveal its new version of E-Vino retro electric scooter in Japan. The automaker has made the announcement of the scooter, which can give better range, other color options and better and enhanced features. The viewers will get information that Yamaha Retro Electric Scooter Launches in Japan.

Yamaha e-Vino is provided in the market in one variant and this scooter is designed for the urban commuters. The scooter gives the look of minimalistic and continuous rated hub motors of 1.2 kW and it has better top speed than the previous scooters. 

E-Vino has the total weight of 68 Kgs and it is powered by 12.2 Ah battery and the charging of the scooter reaches from 10% to 80% within three hours. It has the standard tire size of 10 inches and it is added with new powertrain and engine has 7.6 Nm of torque and the driving range of 32 kms. 

This scooter has smooth and round panel, taillight, retro headlight and turn signals to give you charming look. The new model of this scooter is available in black, white or light blue colors. 

The starting price of this e-scooter is equal to Rs.493,000/- and it has cheap standard and this e-Vino is expensive for Pakistani market. 

Efforts to Promote E-Bikes in Pakistan

The Power Division supported the promotion of e-bikes in Pakistan as the fuel prices are increasing and the inflation is also crippling. The department submitted the constitutional proposal to get the complete plan to promote the electric bikes. It is worth mentioned that the bikes consume $3 billion of fuel per year. 

The government is comparing performance, prices, driving range and ownership costs of the e-bikes and petrol powered bikes. It highlights the following inhibitors in e-bike normalization. 

Offsite charging infrastructure is not available.
The cost of e-bikes is higher than other competitors.
Formal sector financing products are not provided, which are added with certain incentives from the government.
Limited charging capacity as there is technological constraint for battery swapping.
High cost of power.

The department has gained the vouchers for e-bike-friendly policies and they can get the attention of the people to move from the petrol-powered bikes to e-bikes.
