2010 corolla compressor is making weird noises

My AC is acting up—it blows hot air sometimes and works only intermittently, especially at low speeds. The technician said the compressor is making weird noises and the condenser is clogged and needs replacing. But its a newer car can’t it just be cleaned instead?

The condensers in newer cars use a parallel flow design and have the dryer built in, so they can’t be flushed like the older models. You should get it tested again, cool it down with some water, and then check the running pressure and temperature inside the cabin.

It could also be that the wrong oil in the system is causing some issues.
