2014 Toyota Vitz makes a rattling o r knocking noise

My 2014 Toyota Vitz makes a rattling o r knocking noise when I lightly press the accelerator, especially when Im going under 60 km/h. Ive noticed this annoying sound for about a year now. The car doesn’t have any other issues—no vibrations o r anything like that. It only happens below 60 km/h, and above that, it’s fine. I’m using 5W30 Havoline engine oil. Some people say it’s normal for the 1KR engine, but I’m not sure what to do about it. I’d appreciate any advice! Thanks!

A bit of vibration when gliding is fine, but a knocking sound isn’t normal. You might want to check the tappets.
