4E-FE Engine swap fromDiesel corolla Fuel Econ MPG

Recently the engine was changed in 1986 shaped toyota corolla from diesel 1C to Gasoline 4e-fe.

This car is basically used for city driving conditions and the Fuel economy and MPG for city driving conditions is given below:

1. This time the tank was completely filled and the fuel was filled till auto shutoff, then drove around urban / city conditions for 25k.m., came back to the same filling station and refilled the tank till auto shut-off;
Fuel consumed=1.82liters,
Distance covered=25k.m.which gives around 13.7 km/liter/li
MPG=32.5

2. Filled the tank upto the fuel tank mouth, drove around city with some open stretches for about 31 k.m. (NOT motorway or national highway). Came back to the same filling station and refilled the the tank to the fuel tank mouth;
Fuel consumed= 1.91 Liters
Distance covered=31 k.m. which gives around 16.2 km/liter/li
MPG=38.5

3. Mind you that the 4E-FE engine is mated to an auto transmission, thus proving that 4E-FE gives good fuel economy even with an auto tranny./li
