Airbag installation info required.

Hi every one!

I wanted to know if it is possible or lets say feasible (keeping in mind the costs and all that) to install airbags in cars previously not containing any (lets take a mehran, cuore or an alto for example)? If so does anyone know who gets the job done in Lahore?
Any piece of info is welcomed.

These are precision systems that are designed by the manufacturer according to the car. It has sensors that monitor a collision and a control module for the airbags and they work in combination with the car's ECU. You can install airbags in a car that was designed for them. But even then its not a simple installation like installing power windows or power steering. I don't think you can install airbags in a Mehran. In a Cuore and Alto it might be possible but you will need to locate a service manual and find out if these cars did have models with airbags. If they didn't then I'm afraid you're out of luck.
