Alto Block Cracked
Alto Block Cracked
Hi
Today I rode my Alto (2005 Model engine overhauled 1 year ago).
Just saw my thermometer above
i somehow make it cool and went to my local mechanic and we seen
oil and water are completely mixed.
The mechanic says that the problem of packing we have to change gasket.
he opened the head and we see there are some cracks on the block.
So if the mechanic says that the lathe worker may be reimbursed thing can he done with welding and etc,
and I was thinking about getting half assembly of Bilal Gunj
The current engine is totally OK, as her 1 year old piston and head is also fine.
i dont want to fix these things if we cannot open to motorcycle and every day.
So if I'm in Lahore.
Can you then imagine this is a good option changes the half-sitting?
What would it cost to buy half the assembly? any idea?
any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Sir g gone r the days when an engine change would scare away the potential buyers nowadays it's a common thing.go for engine change rather then re-built.
A frd faced same problem but his car was honda. The cost of repairing the old engine was just a few thousand less then the 'new' qabuli engine. So we choose qabuli engine.it's been almost a year now and car is running smooth.
