How do temperature changes affect tire pressure in my Suzuki Alto?

I’ve noticed that the tire pressure in my Suzuki Alto seems to during the colder months. How do temperature changes affect tire pressure, and is there anything I should do to maintain proper tire pressure in such conditions?

Temperature changes have a significant impact on tire pressure. Here’s how:

Cold Weather: For every 10°C in temperature, tire pressure can by about 1-2 PSI pounds per square inch. As temperatures decrease, the air inside your tires contracts, which causes a in tire pressure. This is especially noticeable in the colder months.
Hot Weather: On the flip side, hot weather causes the air inside the tires to expand. This increase in pressure is often more noticeable after a long drive when the tires have heated up due to friction with the road.
How to fix it:

Check tire pressure regularly: In extreme weather conditions very hot o r very cold, be sure to check your tire pressure more frequently. This will help you catch any significant fluctuations that may occur.
Adjust tire pressure according to temperature: In the winter, you may need to add air to compensate for the in pressure, and in hot weather, be mindful of over-inflation. Always ensure your tire pressure is adjusted according to the temperature and vehicle’s load.
