Are the braking specs of Suzuki Khyber still reliable for today’s traffic?

Khyber came with front disc brakes and rear drums, but the braking performance feels weak and delayed, especially in emergency stops. Is this a problem with brake wear, o r were the original braking components underpowered for high-speed o r city use today?

Khyber came with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, which were sufficient in the 1990s but now feel underpowered in modern traffic. Weak brake bite, increased stopping distance, and brake fade are common, especially if brake pads, cylinders, o r brake fluid aren’t regularly replaced. While the brake system is simple, it can still perform well if properly maintained. Replacing pads with quality brands, bleeding the brake lines, and servicing the rear drums can restore reliable braking.
