How do I fix the low-quality speakers in my Suzuki Mehran?

The stock speakers in my Suzuki Mehran are terrible — the sound is muffled, and it’s hard to hear music clearly even at low volumes. I want to upgrade them without spending too much. What are the best affordable options available in Pakistan for improving sound quality in my Mehran?

The stock speakers in the Mehran are basic and don’t offer great sound quality. The low sound quality is due to:

Low wattage speakers: The stock speakers aren’t powerful enough to produce clear, high-quality sound.

Poor insulation: The doors and interior don’t have proper soundproofing, which reduces sound clarity.

Solutions:

Upgrade the speakers: Install mid-range quality speakers like Pioneer, Sony, o r Kenwood. A pair of 6.5” speakers typically costs around Rs. 2,500–5,000.

Add sound insulation: Apply foam o r soundproofing material inside the doors to reduce vibrations and external noise Rs. 1,500–3,000.

Install a subwoofer: For better bass, you can install a small subwoofer in the boot Rs. 4,000–7,000 along with a matching amplifier for better sound output.

Upgrade the head unit: If the sound output is still weak, upgrading the head unit to a better one with more power and equalizer settings can help Rs. 5,000–8,000.
