Brakes of CITY 2005
Brakes of CITY 2005
I have heard that brakes of new CITY are not good. Also mentioned in forum :poor se saloon brakes: is it the brakes or the General tyres. If tyres then what you sujjest to go for(tyre/rim). THANKS

Well, the tyres aren't to be blamed entirely, since the rims themselves play a very important part. The Corolla has a huge body on 13" rims as opposed to a much lighter body of the City also on 13" rims. Technically the Corolla has better brakes(Ventiallted Front/Rear), but the stock tyres and rims don't make use of them. Get rid of your stock tyres and pop in some decent 14-15" rims. Yes fuel consumption will slightly go up, but your braking will greatly improve.
it depends on tyres so its true bcz of grip...and huge body..power to brake ratio have to be thinked...car makers don't work much on tyres as they have to increase their car's milage.....so u have to put on some tyres but if u have not too much long route so go with stock tyres brakes work man but not like that when u install 14 or 15" rims with strong grip tyres.....so stock position definately works....
Thanxx
