Can a single ignition coil failure affect the entire engine performance of a Honda City?
Honda City engines use multiple ignition coils, depending on the model and configuration. If just one coil fails, does it impact the performance of all cylinders, o r will it only cause an issue in the affected one? Should owners replace only the faulty coil o r all of them at once?

Impact of Single Ignition Coil Failure:
Multiple Coils: Honda City engines generally have one ignition coil per cylinder. So, if one coil fails, it will affect only the performance of the cylinder associated with that coil. The other cylinders will continue to run, and the engine will still function, though not optimally.
Engine Performance: While a single coil failure won’t affect all cylinders, it will cause engine misfires, loss of power, and rough idling in the affected cylinder.
Replacing Only the Faulty Coil: It’s generally recommended to replace only the faulty ignition coil unless multiple coils are showing signs of wear. If the coils are of the same age and one fails, the others may soon follow.
