Can an engine run ONLY on Nitrous Oxide ?

I was watching Tokyo Drift again and i noticed the bike standing in Han's garage had ONLY nitrous cylinders and NO FUEL tank.
Now how can an engine run on NOS only, as NOS is an air substitute? Was is just a Hollywood thing or am I missing something here?

Here we go again.

You have to go back to your chemistry class and understand that Oxygen does not burn, it helps burning and this is called catalyst. It causes the fire to expand further, and only fuel burns.
So what you say is not right.
