Can poor-quality wiper blades cause streaks on my Mehran’s windshield?

I recently replaced the wiper blades on my Mehran with a cheap local brand, and ever since then, I’ve been getting streaks on the glass. Do low-quality blades cause this problem, and which wipers work best for Mehran?

Yes — poor-quality wipers are a very common cause of streaks. Local low-cost wipers often:

Use hard o r uneven rubber that doesn’t conform to the glass.

Leave gaps while wiping.

Wear out quickly in hot weather especially in cities like Karachi o r Lahore.
Use trusted brands like Bosch, Trico, o r Denso, which are widely available in Pakistan. Also, make sure they match the correct size for Mehran usually 18” for driver side, 16” for passenger.
