City (2005) tyre change - suggestions

City (2005) tyre change - suggestions

want to change the original general tyres

the new combination I have in mind is 195/65/14
Getting Honda Civic Exi 14" rims.
As is evident, I do not want to spend much on rim but no compromise on tyres.

What do you think?

Also please suggest which tyre and model to go for.

My driving style is "spirited". Drive fast. With the pathetic generals, I have had hit thrice in the 30,000 km driven. Despite adequate distance the tyres completely failed to respond and stop!

Also please suggest a good dealer in Isb/Rwp and also approx price.

better size would be 195/60
if u can go with tyres with hard sidewalls, noise, etc
than dunlop formula fm901 are good, yoko es100
pirelli p6000 is good, not as gripy as fm901 but is quieter and. thou all these tyres do slide on dirty roads or/and when cold. other than that, in 14inch, u do not have much choice.
