CNG + Nitrous

CNG + Nitrous

LoL i gotta question what if you would mix in Nitrous in you CNG tank would it improve the burn in the engine or decrease it. I need a real expert for this one. Or would it be an imbalance and it would just become a stale gas.......Didnt take CHEM.....so if someone can let me know lol

it'll be like carrying a bomb in your trunk. think of it as a perfect mix of air and fuel (like in your combustion chamber). best thing could be that you'll have a car which runs lumpy. but worst case scenario your tank could explode because it is carrying such a perfect (and volatile) mixture.

I can understand your reasoning behind the idea but it won't work. Imagine if you will that CNG is 100% pure at the filling station, and then you fill 50% pure NOx. you'd haev a 50:50 ratio in your tank (not ideal for CNG to detonate but better than it being 100% (stable). rest is simple
