Corolla 86 problem

one of my colleague have corolla 86...wo 2nd gear pa pick nae pakarti and jhatkai marti hai...so guys wat can be the problem?

poor contact between clutch contact surfaces,.. or possibly the engine isn't tuned correctly which is leading to low power output.
