Corolla Amp Draw: Battery Drain in 3 Days Without Starting

Corolla Amp Draw: Battery Drain in 3 Days Without Starting

So, Ive been having some issues with my Corolla GLI. When I checked the current draw, I found that it was drawing around 225 to 230 milliamps. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the AM2 fuse was drawing more current than the ECU-B No.1 fuse.

Interestingly, when I removed these two fuses, the overall amp draw ped to the standard 50mA for an EFI car, as per information I found on car forums online. However, when I removed the AM2 fuse, the meter lights turned off and when I turned the key to start the car, nothing happened.

Im wondering if anyone knows what could be causing the amp draw in the circuitry of the AM2 fuse, since the ECU-B No.1 fuse was drawing some current but not as much as the AM2 fuse. Any advice o r suggestions would be appreciated.

Based on the information provided, it seems like the issue youre experiencing may be related to the AM2 ignition to the starter fuse. However, the problem could also potentially lie between the ignition switch and the starter motor.

It would be best to have a professional mechanic take a look and diagnose the issue to ensure its properly resolved.
