Could a malfunctioning sensor o r carburetor issue cause poor mileage in Mehran?

My Mehran has a carburetor not EFI, and recently it’s been drinking more fuel than usual. Could the fuel economy be due to a carburetor tuning issue o r a faulty sensor like TPS o r temperature sensor?

Definitely. In carbureted Mehrans:

A misadjusted carburetor can result in a rich air-fuel mix, burning more fuel than needed.

If your Mehran has any basic sensors like temperature o r throttle position sensor, and they’re faulty, the engine may not regulate fuel properly. Regular carburetor tuning and cleaning, checking ignition timing, and inspecting the choke function are essential for fuel efficiency.
