Daihatsu Cuore Hissing on Startup

Daihatsu Cuore Hissing on Startup

I had a mechanic I usually go to for tuning, and they recently did some carburetor spray to improve fuel efficiency. Since then, Ive noticed that when I start the car in the cold morning, it makes a hissing sound. The noise seems to increase when I step on the gas while driving. However, by the third o r fourth startup later in the day, when the car has warmed up, the hissing sound disappears. Any advice on what I can do about this?

Also, my car doesnt start right away with a few pumps of the accelerator followed by turning the ignition, and sometimes it takes a second try. Id appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thanks!

The hissing sound during cold starts might be due to a vacuum leak o r carburetor adjustment issues. Starting problems could be related to the choke, fuel system, o r ignition components. Have a mechanic check and make necessary adjustments for both issues.
