DIY Projects - Honda Civic and similar vehicles

Ok guys....i have been thinking about posting this so here is the deal.

I have almost done most of the maintenance, trouble shooting, internal and external mods related work on my Honda Civic. I will be happy to share it with you and can show you step by step with comments and pictures (if available) how to do regular maintenance and checkup on your Civic or a similar car yourself instead of stressing about it.

Please dont ask me anything that you dont wanna do yourself. I havent ported or polished engine blocks so i dont know abou that. Talk to me about regular maintenance, oil changes or any other regular stuff that you want.

The other objective is to learn how a certain job is done. Even if you get it done elsewhere...it is useful to know about it.

Let the discussion begin.....some of the samples are as follows:

1) Strut bar install
2) Installing headers, intakes and exhaust
3) replacing filters
4) replacing fluids (brake, engine, transmission, PS, coolant etc)
5) replacing shot down bulbs
6) changing oil
7) blackhousing headlights and fog lights
8) installing speakers, decks and sound systems

Cheers

Since we know Honda is one breed tht has always dominated racing scenes all over the world with millions of fans.
Me, and my Team has started chipping and programming Honda's OBD1 Ecu's tht includes
1. Rev Limiting/ Advancing/ Eliminating
2. Vtec Advance Engaging/ Eliminating
3. Full throttle launch (FTS/FTL)
4. Boost Controller
5. A/C Idling
6. Disabling Knock sensor (B16A~x)

.....and many more options.
Those modifications on ECU r tested and verified on my own vehicle, tht has a JDM D15B P08 OBD1 ECU.

The Difference is very obvious in street race where u can beat a Local Spec 1.6 96~2006 Vti with ur stock JDM D15 with a gap of 4 or five cars.....

if anyone is interested in chipping their Honda OBD1 ECUs please contact us @

Khursheed Ustad: 0333-9118193
Kaisar Abbas : 0345-9044090

since we guys r peshawer i dun think Honda lovers in Karachi can have benefit with it, btw they r welcome with our lahori Brothers and so guys Islamabad(since Islamabadians pay Rs.70,000 for chipping) lol.....we go for way much less

Thanx for reading this, looking forward for feedback
