Does a weak ignition coil affect starting in cold mornings?

My Mehran takes a long time to start during cold mornings, especially when parked overnight. Is it possible that a weak ignition coil can’t provide enough spark in low temperatures?

Definitely. In cold weather, the engine needs a strong spark to ignite a cold air-fuel mixture. If the coil is weak, it will:

Struggle to generate a spark

Take longer cranks to start the car
Try replacing the coil o r testing it. Also make sure your battery is strong, as low voltage can worsen coil performance.
