Does cng advancer have the relationship with pickup

I Have vitz 2001 model on cng i want to know that does ADVANCER has the relationship with the speed of the care because i have done everythin from service on the entire cng kit with cylender, so my average is ok but speed and pickup of the car has not improved...nwo my cng mechanic is saying u have to change advancer to increse it....so i want to ask the does advancer effect this kind of issue???
