Facing a serious problem...!!!
hi guys....
im facing a serious problem after fitting cng kit in my car.the ground-clearence of the car has decreased drastically nd if there are 4 ppl in da car or 2 ppl wid lugguge in trunk,it hits da ground really hard.nd this can cause serious damage to the underside of the car.currently its running on its original suspention.its a city idsi wid stock tyre nd rim size.
i hav disscussed the problem wid many ppl.most says instal spacers(gutka) under da springs nd get the car upto its original height.but i dnt think so this wud b healthy for da whole rear suspention.it wud ruind the shocks nd springs.would'nt they?
the second option is to install desi springs which are specially made for da cars converted to CNG.they r a bit more thicker then da stock springs nd get the car to its original position.no need to place spacers.
in ur kind opinion, what wud b the better option?? i think replacing springs is better option as many Xli owners suggested.but any disadvantages? any type of info wud b highly appreciated.....
thanx

watz capacity of cylinder nd make ..in my opinion u shud have gone for "FABER"make..its quite lightweight..with 50 kg capacity..or 55kg max,not more than dat
Inflex nd EKC cylinder r quite heavy..
u have 2 options..change cylinder or suspension..
i have faber 50 kg in my civic nd it has not much affected suspension.
