Honda City 2000 Engine Stopped While Driving!

Honda City 2000 Engine Stopped While Driving!

Hey there,

Im reaching out today because Im having a major issue with my 2001 Honda City. The engine keeps cutting out while Im driving, and to make matters worse, the cluster light keeps flashing. I tried fixing it by changing the fuel filter and fuel pump, but it didnt do the trick.

Heres whats been happening:

- The engine randomly shuts off while Im driving, and theres no specific pattern to it.
- That darn cluster light keeps popping up, adding to my frustration.
- I can only get the engine to restart if I turn the key off and then back on.
- Ive racked my brain trying to figure out whats causing the problem. The only thing worth mentioning is that I recently filled up my tank with a mix of high octane and regular fuel, in a 70/30 ratio. Other than that, I havent made any changes to the car.

Id really appreciate it if you could take a look at my car and figure out whats going on.

Thanks a bunch for your time and help with this matter.

P.S. If you know any good mechanics in Islamabad o r Rawalpindi who can diagnose this issue, please do share their details.

typical issue with the Honda main relay, dude.

Just take off the glovebox, and youll spot the gray rectangular box with wires connected to it. Give it a good whack when the car stops, and itll juice up the positive side of the 12-volt system.

If that works, just take it out and have someone who knows their way around circuit boards reflow its solder joints. The insides are pretty basic and get all cracked up as the car gets older, man.
