Honda City Grinding Noise Issue Help
Honda City Grinding Noise Issue Help
Ive been dealing with an issue in my 2018 Honda City manual transmission. Whenever I drive at a speed between 60 and 65 mph, theres this annoying grinding noise. Heres what Ive noticed:
The car is completely quiet below 60 mph, and the grinding sound only kicks in between 60 and 65 mph. It goes away when I below 60 o r go faster than 65. I took it to a workshop, and they thought it might be the wheel bearings. They replaced both front wheel bearings, but the problem persists. To rule out gear noise, I even tried putting the car in neutral within that speed range, but the grinding noise is still there.
Could anyone please help me figure out what might be causing this?

My recommendation would be to locate a reliable mechanic and invite them to join you for a test drive.
This situation is challenging since there are numerous potential causes, and its tough to identify the issue without actually hearing the noise firsthand.

I am facing the same issue. Dont know what to do with it. I have gotten the engine tuned and replaced the gear oil as well. The sound is still there
