Honda City Steering Wheel Problem

Honda City Steering Wheel Problem

Hey everyone,

I recently got a Honda City 1.5L 2024 and upgraded from the stock Euro Star 175/65R15 tires to Continental 195/65R15s. The car drives much better now, but I’ve noticed that the steering feels a lot harder, especially after U-turns—it doesn’t seem to self-center as easily. Any advice o r thoughts on this?

Thanks!

This issue is likely because you’ve chosen larger tires for your vehicle. If it originally came with 175mm tires, going up to 185mm is generally the maximum recommended width. Anything wider than 185mm, like your 195mm tires, can cause problems because the steering system wasn’t designed to handle them. It looks like this is something you’ll have to deal with now.
