How can I fix the issue of burned-out brake light bulbs in my Suzuki Alto?

My Suzuki Alto’s brake lights seem to burn out regularly. I’ve replaced them a couple of times, but the issue persists. Could there be an underlying electrical problem causing the brake light bulbs to fail so quickly? How can I identify and fix the root cause of this issue?

Regular brake light bulb burnouts can happen due to several reasons:

Overheating: If the brake lights stay on for too long, especially with heavy brake use, the bulbs can overheat and burn out. This may happen if the brake light switch is malfunctioning, causing the lights to stay on when the car is not in use.
Wiring Issues: Loose o r corroded wiring can cause intermittent power surges, which can burn out the bulbs.
High Voltage: Similar to the headlights, an overcharged electrical system can cause the brake light bulbs to burn out quickly.
How to fix it:

Inspect the brake light switch: Ensure it’s functioning properly and turning the lights off when not needed.
Check the wiring: Inspect for any frayed o r corroded wires. Clean o r replace them as necessary.
Test the electrical system: Have the alternator and voltage regulator checked to ensure proper voltage is being supplied.
