How can I identify engine sputtering and a coolant o r oil leak in my Suzuki Alto?

Engine sputtering can sometimes be accompanied by fluid leaks, which could be from the coolant o r oil systems. What are the main signs that indicate engine sputtering combined with a coolant o r oil leak, and how can I differentiate between these problems in my Suzuki Alto?

Identifying engine sputtering and fluid leaks involves observing the following signs:

Engine Sputtering: The engine will sound rough o r misfire, particularly at idle o r during acceleration. You may notice the car hesitating o r struggling to maintain a consistent speed.
Oil Leaks: Check for oil spots o r stains under the car, typically around the engine o r beneath the valve cover. You may also notice a burning oil smell if the oil leaks onto hot engine parts.
Coolant Leaks: Coolant leaks are typically identified by a green o r orange fluid pooling beneath the car o r visible signs of coolant around the radiator, hoses, o r engine. You may also notice your engine temperature rising, indicating low coolant levels.
Unusual Exhaust Smoke: Sputtering caused by ignition issues may result in blue o r black smoke from the exhaust. If the sputtering is due to an oil leak, blue smoke indicates burning oil, while black smoke may indicate an overly rich fuel mixture.
Solution:

Visually inspect under the car and around engine components for leaks.
Check the oil level and coolant levels, as s in either may indicate a leak.
Have the vehicle tested by a mechanic to diagnose both the sputtering and any leaks accurately.
