How can I tell if my Suzuki Alto’s water pump is leaking coolant?

I’ve noticed a puddle of coolant under my Suzuki Alto after it’s been parked for a while. Could the water pump be leaking? What signs should I check for to determine if the water pump is the source of the leak?

If your Suzuki Altos water pump is leaking coolant, there are a few signs to look for:

Puddle of Coolant: Check the ground where the car is parked for a puddle of coolant. A leak from the water pump is often located near the front of the engine, and you’ll notice a green o r pink liquid.
Coolant Around the Water Pump Area: Look at the water pumps location it is usually attached to the front of the engine. If you notice dried coolant residue around the pump o r a fresh pool of coolant, the pump could be leaking.
Low Coolant Level: A consistent in coolant level without visible leaks elsewhere can indicate a slow leak from the pump.
Solution:

Inspect the Pump and Hoses: Check the water pump for any visible cracks o r holes and inspect the coolant hoses connected to the pump. Any sign of damage to these components could mean a leak.
Seek Professional Help: If you notice a significant coolant loss o r puddle, it’s important to have a mechanic replace the water pump o r repair the leak.
