Why is my Suzuki Altos tire pressure frequently fluctuating?
I’ve been noticing that the tire pressure in my Suzuki Alto seems to fluctuate frequently, sometimes appearing higher and other times lower than usual. What could be causing this, and how can I fix the issue?

Fluctuating tire pressure can be caused by several factors. Here are the most common reasons:
Temperature Changes: Tire pressure can fluctuate with temperature changes. As temperatures , the air inside the tires contracts, causing the pressure to . Conversely, in hot weather o r after long drives, the air inside the tire expands, which can increase the tire pressure.
Valve Stem Issues: A faulty o r worn valve stem can cause air to leak slowly, leading to fluctuating pressure. This is often more noticeable in tires that are checked infrequently.
Leaks in the Tire: A slow puncture o r leak can cause gradual pressure loss. Even if it’s not a major leak, it can result in inconsistent tire pressure.
Improper Inflation: Sometimes tire pressure is not properly set, leading to small fluctuations as the tire settles into the correct position o r as weight shifts during driving.
How to fix it:
Regularly check tire pressure: Make sure to check the tire pressure at least once a month and before long trips, using a reliable tire pressure gauge.
Inspect valve stems: Have the valve stems inspected and replaced if necessary.
Check for leaks: If you suspect a slow leak, inspect your tires for punctures o r cracks. A mechanic can perform a leak test to locate and fix the issue.
