A weak battery can cause starting issues that mimic a faulty starter motor. Here’s how to differentiate:

Starter Test: If the starter motor makes a clicking sound but doesnt turn over the engine, the battery might not have enough charge to power the starter.
Battery Voltage Test: Check the battery’s voltage. A fully charged battery should have 12.6 volts or higher with the engine off. Below 12 volts indicates a weak battery.
